Board games

Tonight was board game night, although this meant “serious” board games rather than the traditional fare such as monopoly. I’d only once or twice played board games like this so it was a fairly novel experience, although one that was great fun.

Despite playing for several hours I only actually played one game (albeit several times), called 7 Wonders. Short version is you play as a classic civilization and compete to build the best society in the game world, it was far more exciting than that makes it sound. On an unrelated note I have also now booked tickets for Las Vegas next week. DEF CON here I come.
